New Aquaria Trailer
Yep, we decided it was about time to release a new trailer! If the Aquaria trailers were strip teases, the first teaser was probably like whipping off a tie. This trailer rips open its shirt - maybe even loosens the belt a bit! You’ll get to see more of the different areas and creatures, more music (some created just for the trailer) and you’ll hear a healthy dose of Jenna’s voice acting.
However, there’s still a ton of things in the game that aren’t shown here - not to mention the stuff we’re planning to add in the next couple of months. But, I think I’ll leave it at that… before I get too riled up!
Oh… and if you’re not too thrilled with YouTube’s blur-o-vision, there are some higher quality options below:
QuickTime Download - 28mb - 640×480
XVID/MP3 AVI Download - 20mb - 640×480
XVID/MP3 AVI Download - 50mb - 1024×768
(Best Viewed with VLC Player)
Uh oh, it hit GameTrailers. Thanks Ryan S.! And Destructoid.

Oooh! Very nice indeed! And a seriously Salamandery tileset towards the end before that last boss. Looks a lot more interesting and action-packed than the last trailer.

JEBUS! I knew the game was quality work but I didn’t realize it was that good. I didn’t see any of the earlier trailers you guys might have put out so that was a nice surprise to find this morning.
If you had to put a number on it, Derek, how many underwater rocks have you drawn? :p

Wow. Do you have any IDEA how much I missed playing 2D scroller games?! plus with a good storyline and graphics? I hope the game lives up to the trailer because I’m seeing an instant classic coming. I can write a full page of why this game looks good already and I haven’t even played it yet.Keep up the good work guys I can’t wait till I get my hands on this game.

Wow… :O
February 19th, 2007 at 3:54 pm
Knowing that a new 2D adventure game is on the horizon is rather refreshing - they have always been amongst my favourites! The graphics are colourful and vibrant, and the music and voice acting sound very professional. I can’t wait!
What platforms will this game be released for? I’d LOVE to see this on Xbox Live Arcade!
February 19th, 2007 at 8:57 pm
Please tell me Aquaria will soon come to LIVE arcade. If so, you’re already pre-sold.
February 19th, 2007 at 9:46 pm
Yay! Can’t wait. This trailer makes it look very appealing to everyone.
February 20th, 2007 at 3:35 am
This really would make an excellent XBox Live Arcade game. I hope you guys are looking into the possibilities of getting it published as that!
Anyway, will definitely buy this one!

I can’t express in words how much I’m looking forward to this game. I’ll be keeping an eye on this, anxiously awaiting release. You’ve already sold me a copy.

Okay, if I didn’t want the game enough to pull my hair out five minutes ago, I sure as hell do now. You guys gotta’ stop doing this to me. =( Freaking amazing trailer. Thanks for including the high-res options!

fuck… omg… Amazing trayler
I have a strong wish to play Eternal Daughter third time.

I wonder why noone commented on this yet, but the music in the trailer is just be-autiful. When I first watched the trailer I didn’t really notice the music on its own, because I was paying more attention to the voice acting and the visuals, but listening to the isolated music really gave me a shiver - and there’s not much music that does this to me. Man, this game will be great…

I’ve been watch this since I first heard about it, and it is going to be the best 2D scroller ever made. I a huge fan of the 2D style. The video is freaking awesome in every way. I’d just like to say you guys rock and I can wait to get my hands on this game. Good luck to you guys and also can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next.
