Frozen Veil on Ipad

I'm having a lot of trouble getting to the bubbles at the top of the Frozen Veil.  I'm using the plant form, and trying to climb up the left side or jumping directly to the lowest bubbles by spitting out plant seeds and climbing the stalks.  However, I'm find it very difficult to direct where the seeds go on my iPad.  Anybody have any useful advice for navigating this part of the game on a iPad?

Aiming a charged shot on the iPad takes both hands.  Keep one thumb on the fire button to charge up a shot.  With the other hand touch Naija with one finger and tap the screen in the direction you want the shot to go with a second finger.  This is especially worth practicing with the nature form shot because it becomes quite useful later in the game...   Good luck!
